       Distinguished Clinician Award

Each year, the Louisiana Association of Teacher Educators honors practicing clinicians with the Distinguished Clinician Award. Nominees must be current or former cooperating teachers who demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and dispositions of professional educators. Each postsecondary institution that grants degrees in teacher education may nominate one clinician in each category.

LAATE is currently accepting nominations for the 2010 Distinguished Clinican Award. If your institution is interested in submitting one or more nominations, all nomination information is available here.

The 2009 awards were presented at the LSU/LAATE Student Teacher Conference on April 20, 2009, in Baton Rouge. The 2009 recipients are:
